Unilin Technologies and i4f enter into non assert agreement on water repellent coating patents for laminate and wood flooring

Unilin Technologies and i4f announce the implementation of a non assert agreement on Unilin’s water repellent coating patents.
Both technology licensing companies are offering a different coating technology designed to enhance the water repellent performance of wood based flooring products. Unilin’s technology is marketed under the Unicoat brand. I4f offers its' technology under the AquaProtect brand.
The agreement allows i4f to offer its licensees additional protection on Unilin’s pioneering patent portfolio by which flooring manufacturers now have legal access to multiple water repellent edge coating technologies from independent technology providers.
