Matching stair covers, skirtings and profiles to a floor is often complex, time-consuming and expensive. With this patented, and market-proven, technology, accessories are produced directly from the original flooring plank. The result is a perfectly coordinated finish, with identical texture, scratch resistance, pattern and color across every element of the installation.
Traditional accessory production typically depends on an extensive color-matching process when a new flooring design or color is introduced. That approach is time-consuming, costly, and results in an accessory that still doesn’t fully match the original floor.
By starting from the original plank, each accessory carries the same surface, décor and other properties as the floor itself, thereby eliminating design deviations and creating seamless transitions from floor to stair, wall and profile.
Supply chain and production is simplified, lead times are reduced and complete flooring collections can be brought to market faster.
Stair covers are exposed to intensive daily traffic and therefore need to deliver long-lasting performance. First, since the stair cover are made from a flooring plank, they match the same level of scratch resistance as the flooring, guaranteeing long-lasting scratch resistance across the complete floor covering.
To furthermore enhance durability, an insert is integrated into the stair cover design. Each stair cover is produced by milling the original flooring plank and folding it over the insert. This technique fully supports and fills the round or square edge of the stair cover, significantly increasing its strength and ensuring a consistent shaping. By using an insert not only the the quality of the stair cover is improved, it also lowers cost of production since it minimizes the use of glue.
This technology enables a complete, coordinated accessory range, including:
The solution is fully compatible with laminate, engineered wood, WPC and SPC.
Accessories maintain the same length as the flooring panel, allowing floor and accessories to ship together on a single pallet. This reduces SKU complexity, simplifies storage and streamlines logistics.
